“I followed my heart and it led me to Charleston”

I love a destination wedding or at least a wedding that feels like one. Ciara and Caleb fell in love with the city of Charleston and moved there as soon as they could. When planning their wedding, they both decided that the city was the best place to tie the knot too! Their families and friends traveled from all over the U.S. to celebrate with them. Ciara and Caleb had the most beautiful outdoor ceremony in the gardens of the Gibbes Museum of Art in the historic downtown area.

The day was classic, elegant, and intimate. After Ciara and Caleb shared their first look, we travelled through the city to some of their favorite spots for photos. Most of the photos we took were in places that they walked their dog through in the mornings. By going a little distance away from the venue, Ciara and Caleb had a true moment to themselves to take in the day. The ceremony was right before sunset and was ever so sweet. Of course, the couple’s fur baby was included during the vows too!
